Rajesh Madabushi
Chief Consulting Officer
Rajesh Madabushi advises law firms and professional services organizations on strategy, operations, growth, and complex business transformation. With more than 30 years of experience across banking, consulting, and engineering, he brings a highly analytical approach to identifying operational issues, improving performance, and translating complex challenges into practical business decisions.
During his career at Citi, Rajesh held senior strategy and operating roles across the Global Private Bank and other businesses. As Strategy Head for Citi’s Global Private Bank, he helped support the growth of the business from approximately $2.1 billion to $3.9 billion in revenue. His work included developing client strategies, launching new platforms, improving operating processes, advising on regulatory initiatives, establishing oversight frameworks, and managing budget planning for technology programs exceeding $100 million.
Rajesh also worked closely with Citi’s Law Firm Group on operating processes, compliance protocols, and change management, giving him direct experience with the business and operational issues facing law firms. Later in his Citi career, he led the development of a new venture extending lending solutions to registered investment advisers and independent advisers, continuing a career centered on new business development, organizational change, and complex operating decisions.
Before entering banking, Rajesh began his career leading re-engineering initiatives at Ford and Visteon across global product design and supply chain functions. That engineering foundation continues to shape his approach to consulting, particularly in matters involving process design, technology, systems integration, and organizational efficiency.
At Oxford Strategic Legal Advisors, Rajesh works with firm leaders on growth initiatives, operating model changes, technology strategy, and other matters requiring both strategic and operational execution. His background across engineering, economics, business, and financial services gives him a broad perspective on how organizations scale, where operating friction develops, and how systems can be redesigned to support long-term performance.
Rajesh holds advanced degrees in mechanical engineering, economics, and business. He also maintains a strong interest in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and blockchain, with a focus on how new tools can affect business models, operations, and decision-making.
