Naz Vahid
President & Co-Chair
Naz Vahid is a seasoned business leader and strategic advisor who has spent more than three decades helping law firms and professional services organizations navigate growth, transformation, capital strategy, and the increasingly complex financial considerations shaping their businesses.
During her career at Citi, Naz rose from credit analyst to Managing Director and Global Head of Citi Global Wealth at Work. She built Citi’s global professional services banking model and grew Wealth at Work into a $900 million business, including expanding its law firm business from approximately $170 million to $700 million over a decade. She also led the business’s expansion into Europe and developed a broad range of solutions for professional services firms, including capital, foreign exchange, escrow, and financial wellness programs. Her leadership and the growth of the platform earned recognition from Euromoney.
Throughout her career, Naz has been known not only for building businesses, but also for building strong teams and developing the leaders around her. She leads with empathy and growth in mind, creating environments in which people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential. She also brings a keen ability to understand the human dynamics underlying business decisions—often helping leaders move beyond the immediate issue to reach a deeper level of thought, conversation, and understanding.
Today, as Co-Chair and President of Oxford Strategic Legal Advisors, Naz advises law firm chairs, managing partners, and senior executives on growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital strategy, leadership, and the organizational challenges that accompany significant change. Her experience building and leading a global business gives her a practical understanding of the decisions firms face as they expand, enter new markets, invest in new capabilities, and consider strategic combinations.
Mentorship and leadership development have remained central to Naz’s work. She founded Citi Private Bank’s mentoring program and has advised and supported professionals at every stage of their careers. She has also supported scholarships for first-generation college students and served on higher-education and nonprofit boards, bringing her experience in leadership, governance, organizational growth, and human development to institutions and causes beyond the business world.
