Summer Negahdar
Data & AI Engineer
Summer Negahdar brings an interdisciplinary approach to data, artificial intelligence, and complex problem-solving. At Oxford Strategic Legal Advisors, she applies quantitative analysis and emerging technologies to projects requiring information to be organized, interpreted, and translated into tools and insights that can support better business decisions.
Her background combines data science and machine learning with economics, statistics, public policy, engineering, and design. That range gives Summer a perspective that considers both how technical systems are built and how people interact with the information and decisions those systems produce. Her interests include artificial intelligence, natural language processing, data analytics, and the development of tools that make complex information more accessible and useful.
Summer earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, where she concentrated in Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods. Her graduate studies were built around data science, economics, statistics, and political science and included additional work in data analytics, machine learning, natural language processing, and geographic information systems.
She previously earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from the University of Tehran, along with a minor in Business Administration. Her engineering and design background adds another dimension to her work, particularly when approaching problems that require structure, systems thinking, and an understanding of how people interact with technology.
At Oxford, Summer brings those disciplines together in support of the firm’s data and artificial intelligence initiatives. Her work is grounded in a curiosity about how emerging technologies can be applied practically, with an emphasis on developing systems that make complicated information easier to understand, analyze, and use.
